University Park, Pa. - Penn State head baseball coach Robbie Wine today announced eight games that the Nittany Lion baseball squad will play on its spring break trip from March 9-16 on its 2008 schedule.

Michael Hebberoy, underground restaurateur, impresario and provocateur, has moved to Seattle from Portland, Oregon, where he oversaw a catering company, Ripe, and three highly acclaimed restaurants: Family Supper, Clarklewis and the Gotham Building Tavern - until he ran out of money and had to leave town.

It’s early, but little opposition is surfacing to retail alcohol sales on Sunday in Columbia. City Council on Wednesday voted unanimously to have its attorney prepare an ordinance that would allow a referendum during April’s municipal elections. Council members said they will decide before Jan. 1 whether to place the issue on the April ballot. State law requires voter referendums to be approved ...
